11 at 5 p.m. at the high school concourse.
Preschool deadline
The deadline to apply for a free preschool at Green County High School
is Jan. 11. The preschool will be held Jan. 23-Feb. 24 and is for 3 1/2-
to 5-year-olds. Call Stacy Skaggs at the school for more information.

GCFRC Council to meet
The Green County Family Resource Center Advisory Council will meet
Jan. 12 at noon at the Greensburg Elementary conference room. Lunch will
be provided. Members are asked to call if unable to attend.
Genealogical meeting
The Green County Genealogy Society will meet Thursday, Jan. 12 at 5
p.m. at the home of Barbara Wright on Busy Baker Road.
Fiscal Court to meet
The Green County Fiscal Court will meet Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. at the courthouse.

SVFD election
The Summersville Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual election
of board members and officers Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. at the fire department.
