Mrs. Mary Bagby George, the daughter of the late Finis and Hattie Channey Bagby, was born Thursday, Jan. 10, 1935 in Green County and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 in Greensburg at her home. She was 75 years and 16 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ornsby Heights Baptist Church in the Pleasure Ridge Park Area of Louisville. She will always be remembered as the spunky lady she was, always full of life and love.  She will greatly be missed by all who knew her, especially by her daughter, Missy.  Their daily phone rituals will leave a void forever.
She united in marriage to Thomas Avery George, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa George Duncan and a son-in-law “son” Lance Duncan of Burkburnett, Texas; three grandchildren, Lauren Avery and Haden Thomas of Burkburnett, Texas and Krista McAuliff; three brothers, Lapsley and Beatrice Bagby and Henry Wood Bagby all of Louisville and Johnny and Doris Bagby of Greensburg; one sister, Elsie Cook of Greensburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a brother-in-law, Reese “Buck” Bowen of Hogansville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by one daughter Lavonne Cassidy.
The funeral service for Mary Frances George were conducted at 11 a.m. CST., on Feb. 1, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with a private burial service in Louisville that followed on  Tuesday, at the Louisville Gardens West.
Pallbearers were Charlie  Allen, Johnny Bagby, Dale Bagby, Chuck Connor, Larry Jones and Lee Douglas.

Mrs. Lula Mae Judd of Elizabethtown, formerly of Green County, daughter of the late Oscar Dunavin and Willie Gertrude Dunavin, was born Sept. 23, 1927 in Texas and departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.  She was 82 years, four months and seven days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.  She was also a former employee for Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, Ennis’ Restaurant and a homemaker.
She united in marriage to Ernest Arlene Judd who preceded her in death on March 14, 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Bobbie Mullins of Elizabethtown; a son, Donnie Judd of Greensburg; a sister, Wanda Brockman of Texas; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Judd was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Wilson; a son, Robert Judd; a grandchild, Carl Wayne Judd; two brothers, R.V. Dunavin and James Dunavin; two sisters, Ruth Key and Dorothy Frost.
The funeral services for Mrs. Lula Mae Judd were conducted at 12 p.m., Feb. 2, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial that followed in the Greasy Creek Cemetery.  Bro. Carlos Compton officiated.
Pallbearers were Doug DeSpain, Donnie Judd, Timmy DeSpain, Johnny Houk, Harvey Beauchamp, Bobby Rogers and the grandsons were honorary pallbearers.

Ms. Jo Ann Scott Wethington of Summersville,, daughter of Edna Crump Scott of Summersville and the late Shire Scott, was born on Feb. 1, 1960 and departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville.  She was 49 years, 11 months and 22 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church. She was also a seamstress for the Louisville Bedding Company.
Besides her mother, she is also survived by a son and daughter, Lucas Wethington and Leah Wethington both of Summersville; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirnell and Ricky Marr of Summersville; nephews, Scott Coffey and his wife Missy of Summersville and Brett Marr of Summersville; a great-nephew, Chase Coffey of Summersville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral services for Ms. Jo Ann Scott Wethington were conducted at 1 p.m. CST,  Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial that followed in the Aetna Grove Cemetery.  Bro. Kelvin Edwards and Bro. Thomas Vaughn officiated.
Pallbearers were Lucas Wethington, Scott Coffey, Brett Marr, Mike Goff, Gene Vaughn,  Larry Bale and Chase Coffey.

Mrs. Reva Rebecca “Becky” Judd, the daughter of the late Castle and Ada Judd Tucker, was born on June 19, 1931 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at St. Mary & Elizabeth’s Hospital.  She was 78 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Louisville Separate Baptist Church.  She was a member of The Eastern Star #265, a past Worthy Matron, a former GE employee and homemaker.
She united in marriage to Amos D. “A.D.” Judd on March 26, 1949 who preceded her in death on Oct. 18, 2006.
Other survivors include three sons and three daughters-in-law, Larry and Nancy Judd, Lonnie and Sherri Judd and Bennie and Diane Judd, all of Louisville; five grandchildren,  Amos “Nick” Judd, April Teeter, David Judd, Shelby Judd all of Louisville and Regan Judd of Lexington; two great-grandchildren, Emily Teeter and Jolie Judd, both of Louisville; three step-grandchildren, Christie Mudd, Steve Collins and Misty Summitt all of  Louisville.  Also surviving is one brother, Edward Tucker of  Ind.; two sisters, Anne McKinney of Louisville and Betty Curry of Greensburg and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Weldon and Bloyd Tucker.
The funeral services for Mrs. Reva Rebecca Judd will be conducted at 11 a.m. CST Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral home in Greensburg.  Rev. J.R. Tucker, Rev. Marsha Hutchinson and Rev. Bill Davenport will be officiating.  Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Visitation was at the Owen Funeral Home, Dixie Hwy. in Louisville on Monday, Feb. 1, 2010  with an Eastern Star Service.  Visitation was in Greensburg on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Oak Grove and Liletown Cemeteries.
